Our Story

At My Designed Homecare, our journey starts with Christina. Being the founder, Christina was motivated by a strong desire to deliver vital care to our Senior Community. Aware of the growing demand for personalised and compassionate support, she founded this company to guarantee that every Aged Care participant with My Designed Homecare receives the quality care they deserve. This desire was born from a personal need to organise sufficient care for Christina's own parents and dealing with the struggle herself. With a foundation in honesty, transparency, empathy, and reliability, My Designed Homecare aims to foster a nurturing environment where seniors can flourish. Christina's vision extends beyond care; it focuses on building meaningful connections and improving the quality of life for our beloved elderly community.

Christina McMichan

Director | Managing Consultant
Services Coordinator

Christina is the Founder and Director of My Designed Homecare. With over 35 years of dedicated experience in the Aged Care industry, she brings deep expertise and a genuine passion for supporting seniors.
 

Christina founded My Designed Homecare with a clear vision: to deliver truly personalised, family-like care to every client. Drawing on her extensive background working with other aged care providers, she has developed a unique insight into the system and is committed to ensuring Government-funded Aged Care participants receive the highest standard of care possible.
 

Transparency, compassion, and respect sit at the heart of her approach. Christina leads a highly dedicated and empathetic team that is devoted to understanding and meeting the individual needs of each client, while also contributing positively to the wider community.

Rosemary "Rose" Percan

Office Manager | Senior Service Coordinator

Rose is a dedicated aged care professional with more than 15 years of experience in the industry. She is certified in Aged Care and Case Management, bringing a strong foundation of knowledge and practical expertise to her role. Rose has worked extensively in nursing home settings, where she supported residents living with dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and mental health conditions. Through this experience, she developed a deep understanding of complex care needs and the importance of compassionate, person-centred support.

 

In addition to her residential care experience, Rose has also worked extensively in the community, providing in-home care to help clients maintain their independence and quality of life. Known for her compassionate and caring nature, Rose is truly passionate about aged care. She is committed to delivering respectful, high-quality support tailored to each individual’s needs.

 

At My Designed Homecare, Rose continues to provide exceptional service, making a meaningful difference in the lives of her clients and their families.

Alexandria "Lexi" Navarro

Registered Nurse & Service Coordinator

Alexandria Navarro, commonly known as Lexi is a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience. She enhanced her expertise by completing a postgraduate diploma in gerontology, specialising in aged care. Lexi's professional background includes working in hospitals, residential aged care facilities, and within the community, where she has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of older adults.

Passionate about lifelong learning and dedicated about delivering compassionate, high-quality care, she is known for her approachable and empathetic nature, which helps her build positive relationships with clients and their families. of work, Lexi prioritises her health and fitness by going to the gym to six days a week, focusing on strength training and Muay Thai. She values self-care a foundation for providing the best care to others and enjoys spending time with friends and meeting new people.

Cynthia Willoughby-Green

Service Coordinator

Cynthia Willoughby-Green has over 5 years of experience as a Disability Support Worker, providing direct care to aged care clients and individuals with disabilities. In addition to her background in the care sector, she spent over 10 years in banking and finance, where she honed her analytical, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Cynthia has also worked in an administrative role within the government sector, enhancing her organizational abilities, attention to detail, and understanding of formal processes and compliance. With her diverse professional background, she possesses a well-rounded skill set in client support care coordination, administration, and communication, allowing her to effectively meet various client and organisational needs.

 

Passionate about making a positive impact in the community, Cynthia is committed to continuing her professional growth within the aged care and support services industry.

Administration Officer

Ashlee McMichan is our dedicated Administration Officer and Receptionist, having been with the company since the beginning. Her invaluable support ensures smooth business operations and effective administration, aligned with our company vision.

Jaqueline "Jackie" Buttigieg

Reception /Administration Officer

Jackie is an integral part of the team, contributing over ten years of experience in elderly care. She strongly resonates with our company’s vision and is committed to making a positive impact with communicating with our clients and families. Jackie has made a remarkable difference as a team member supporting our service coordinators.
